Fantastic! The eggs Benedict are incredibly delicious. In fact, everything that we've tried on the menu has been consistently high quality, delicious and home made. Excellent service and the atmosphere is full of cozy and beautiful touches. What a gem.

One-stop shopping for coffee, pastries, books, novelties, tourist brochures (Including birdwatching and campgrounds around Lake Almanor), lunch on the patio, and other delights! Pretty astonishing for an otherwise remote, two-horse town.As of Summer 2019, they were closed on Tuesdays.

The food was delicious! Portions filling, but appropriately sized.

This might be the only place in Chester that understands how to cater to gluten free diets. The food is terrific here and the staff is very familiar with their menu. The restaurant shares a space with a cute bookshop. This is my new favorite breakfast/lunch option in Chester. I only wish they were open for dinner too. Highly recommend.

Best cafe in Chester. The food is amazing and the owners are a wonderful local couple. Takeout coffee service can be a little slow and hours and days are limited, even in the summer. Best to check hours ahead of time.

Great food, great service. Had lunch there and the Reuben was awesome. They also have a good breakfast menu. Will have to try it some time. Definitely worth going back even if it is not on your route. Good spot to start a Lassen Volcano National park trip.

Let's start by saying the atmosphere's is absolutely amazing with a quaint little book store attached to it.with the cutties dog ever. Extremely friendly customer service very nice friendly staff and more then will to accommodate special diets.

Went here for lunch while working in Chester. Every other place was closed basically. Got the Blue Cheese Burger order on the phone for pickup during Covid. Order ready quickly and the burger was fabulous! Go HERE!

We went to Cravings for the first time today and we were pleasantly surprised! Great atmosphere, nice outdoor seating, very friendly staff, delicious lattes, and a book store attached! What a great spot! We will definitely return.

Cravings is an excellent choice if you are visiting or a resident of Chester. The food is always fantastic, the service is exceptional, and the atmosphere is exquisite. I offer come here with out of town friends and have not been disappointed. If you are looking for a good meal that is not going to break the bank, Cravings is the place to go.

Cravings not only makes a fantastic breakfast (the latest great choice for me was their corned beef hash) and has extremely friendly efficient service, but the attached little bookstore makes a fun after breakfast treat. Definitely my go to place for breakfast in Chester.

Probably the best & most unique restaurant in Chester! Family atmosphere, family-run. My favorite is the Po Boy Shrimp Sandwich!

The bookstore is adorable, the resident pup gave me his belly right away for pets, and the blueberry turnover (only pastry I tried) was absolutely delicious! Will definitely be back next time we visit Chester!

The food is excellent. I've had the shrimp po boy and one of the gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, both were really good. The clam chowder is homemade and fantastic too. This is the best place to eat in Chester. The owners both work here and are super nice too.

We stopped in here on a whim. Really glad we did. Clean, friendly, charming. Indoor and outdoor seating. The grounds are lovely, with a creek running through! Full breakfast and lunch menu. The food was very good. This place has personality. Tasty burgers, sandwiches, omelettes, the slaw is excellent. This is my new go-to for Chester. There is a bookstore attached! Definitely worth checking out.
